NWO Section

Objective

To ensure our members know and adhere to the Mission by developing local programs and activities to enhance the appreciation of Section and National activities as they seek to promote leadership in forestry and public understanding of important issues that are constantly before the public and profession.

What We Do

The section members and council: host field tours and speaker presentations for CIF members and the public; support college and university students through bursaries, support for ring ceremonies and symposiums, and travel to the CIF National AGM; and, undertake work parties to support various local forestry projects.

CIF E-Lecture Sites

The CIF NWO Section offers two Thunder Bay sites for hosting the CIF e-lecture series scheduled every Wednesday afternoon from 1:30-2:30pm. For details about upcoming e-lectures or to watch podcasts of recent e-lectures, go to the CIF E-Lecture Series webpage.
