The Canadian Institute of Forestry, in collaboration with FPInnovations, has organized a workshop on operational block planning in forestry and UAV applications which took place in Kenora, Ontario on February 21, 2017.
This one day workshop provided an introduction to operational block planning in forestry, UAV technology, examine current practices from theory to operations, and highlight real world case studies. The day’s technical presentations featured experts from FPInnovations, KBM Resources, Domtar, ForestSoil Science Ltd., and First Resource Management Group.
