Northwestern Ontario Teachers’ Forestry Tour

Calling all educators and teachers! Interested in learning more about forestry and the forest sector? Join us for a Teachers’ Forestry Tour hosted by the Canadian Institute of Forestry/Institut forestier du Canada (CIF-IFC), the CIF-IFC Northwestern Ontario Section and Resolute Forest Products.
- When: August 18, 2022, from 7:30 – 5:00pm (Eastern Daylight Time)
- Where: Fort Williams Historical Park , Thunder Bay Ontario
- What: Professional Development opportunity for teachers and educators – meet professionals in the field of forest science, research and management, as well as visit forestry operations.
- Cost: A $20 security deposit is required, which will be reimbursed only to those who attend after the event. Registration is kindly sponsored by Resolute Forest Products.
Teachers and educators from all levels are welcome to attend. The tours will aim to involve a mix of presentations and hands-on learning in the field.
