Saskatchewan Teachers’ Forestry Tour

Calling all educators and teachers! Interested in learning more about forestry and the forest sector? Join us for a Teachers’ Forestry Tour hosted by the Canadian Institute of Forestry/Institut forestier du Canada (CIF-IFC) and the CIF-IFC Saskatchewan Section.
- When: July 27 to 28, 2022
- Where: H.O.P Youth Engagement Centre, 15 St NW, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan S6V 5R3
- What: Professional Development opportunity for teachers and educators – meet professionals in the field of forest science, research and management, as well as visit forestry operations and product mills.
- Cost: A non-refundable $25 administration fee is required – the rest of the tour is fully subsidized (excluding overnight accommodations). SPACES LIMITED to 20 participants!
Teachers and educators from all levels are welcome to attend. The tours will aim to involve a mix of presentations and hands-on learning in the field. Teachers and educators will also gain an understanding of tools and resources they can bring back to their classrooms.
