On December 1st, 2016 the Rocky Mountain Section put on another highly successful technical session on “Seismic Line Restoration”. The session was held at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton Alberta and was well attended with over 150 participants. Natural Resources Canada was a major contributor to the event. Professionals from diverse sectors were invited to present on some of the findings and issues on seismic line and its restoration.
The technical session also featured posters and research on the topic by graduate students from the Boreal Ecosystem Recovery and Assessment (BERA) program at the University of Calgary.
