CIF Gold Medal Award

The Algonquin Section of the CIF is pleased to congratulate Claire Pageau, the 2014-15 recipient of the CIF Gold Medal Award for the Forestry Technician Program at Algonquin College in Pembroke. This award is given in recognition of outstanding scholarship, sportsmanship and citizenship through the program’s duration. Claire certainly met and surpassed all of these criteria. She was on the Dean’s Honor Roll in all semesters and will graduate with honours. Claire competed as a member of the Varsity Loggersport’s Team, volunteered at many forestry and community events, and was elected Forestry Student Representative and CIF Class Representative. Claire was also the recipient of the CIF Algonquin Section Award in March 2015 for being the student at the highest academic standing at the end of the first term of the program. Congratulations Claire!
