About The Section
The CIF-IFC Cariboo Section encompasses the forests of Northern British Columbia. The Cariboo is a large section from Williams Lake north to the Yukon border and sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Alberta border. This is an incredibly diverse and energetic section steeped in a long history of forest management and looking forward into the future.
Our team is dedicated to upholding the vision of the CIF-IFC by hosting members & friends’ events, attending CIF-IFC AGMs, participating in National Forestry Week, contributing to local community efforts, and networking students with forest professionals.
We deliver our objectives through hosting events, technical sessions, field tours, and meetings among members and council.
