About The Section
The Northeastern Ontario Section of the CIF is the voice of all those with a personal and professional interest in forests and forestry-related activities.
The Section, listed below, is headed by an annually elected council that plans meetings, field trips, and social affairs for the members and answers inquiries from the public. Our current council is comprised of practitioners at all stages of their professional careers and covers academia, private consulting, private industry, and not-for-profit organizations.
We welcome your comments, suggestions, and help. If you would like to see changes or want to volunteer for an activity, please contact one of the executive members.
