The Canadian Institute of Forestry/Institut forestier du Canada (CIF-IFC) is pleased to announce the launch of an innovative project focused on urban forestry geospatial data after receiving funding support from Natural Resources Canada, under the 2 Billion Trees Program.

The project, Open Urban Forests – Establishing the First National View of Urban Forestry Geospatial Data in Canada, is intended to ensure urban forestry geospatial data is easily findable, discoverable, and interoperable.
