The Master of Forest Conservation class of 2022 at Daniels Forestry, University of Toronto were presented with their CIF Silver ring at a ceremony December 15 2022. The rings were presented to 24 students by Terry Schwan, CIF-IFC Southern Ontario Section Chair and Director, with assistance from Sandy Smith, Director of Forestry Programs, and Professor Sean Thomas. As well, The CIF Gold Medal was presented to Lauren Janke by Sandy Smith. The presentation was preceded by a delicious potluck dinner provided by faculty and students and with the logistical help of Laura Lapchinski, Program Administrator and Tony Ung, Technical Services Coordinator. This was the first ‘live’ presentation since 2019 and was an unqualified success.
